In the not too distant future, the fanfare of "Fall TV" will be a thing of the past. After the staggered additions of mid-season and (now) a viable summer season, it won't be long before the notion of hugely-hyped September shows completely melts into the TV landscape.
Plus, with the rise online binge-watching and primetime networks experimenting with shortened cable-sized seasons, we're pretty much staring at a single year-long "season" of hoopla. As it is, FOX's new hit, the already-renewed Sleepy Hollow, is going to wrap up its first season in just a couple of months.
