American Horror Story: "Burn, Witch. Burn!" Review

The more-focused second half of Coven's Halloween arc - "Burn, Witch. Burn!" - was at times disjointed, but overall a thrilling, stakes-raising chapter immersed in the guilt of formerly cruel mothers. The zombies (summoned by Laveau) laid siege to Miss Robichaux's School causing LaLaurie to come to terms with the pain and suffering she inflicted on her own daughters while they were alive, and Fiona had to recognize that she was to blame for Delia getting a face full of sulphuric acid.

On top of all this, two witches displayed new unexpected powers, muddying the "Supreme" waters even more. Zoe managed to do something that broke Laveau's spell and took the voodoo out of the zombies while Delia, still not fully conscious after the assault, received a startling clairvoyant vision of her husband's cheating ways. Pretty cool twists that now make me wonder if there can be more than one new heir.
