Once Upon a Time in Wonderland: "Serpent" Review

Wonderland is more than just a bizarre place, it can be straight-up scary. The party like atmosphere at the public execution sent a message about the current state of politics in the kingdom. The way they fawned over the Red Queen reminded me a little of the Capitol residents in The Hunger Games. I really thought everyone lived in fear of her rather than adoring her. Yuck.

Alice was as wonderful as ever. Sophie Lowe continues to show she was meant for this role. Seriously, it's such a solid fit. The character is so adventurous you don't blink an eye at her stealing the executioner's clothes and saving the day. Alice, much like the honey badger, doesn't care and you have to adore how they've developed her that way. Also, she wins The Best Quote of the Episode Contest with the whole "Pardon me. Pardon me. I have a blade." I'm going to see if the line works next time I'm in a crowd.
