Brooklyn Nine-Nine: "48 Hours" Review

48 Hours is the name of the film that the Brooklyn Nine-Nine crew forgot to mention when they were listing the best cop movies ever made, and it's also the title of another strong episode.  Only time for a quick review, but you know an episode is working when you're jotting down the best jokes and one-liners of the night and find that you've pretty much transcribed the 22-minutes.

The initial set-up is now familiar: Peralta acts rashly and on his own, he finds himself in a pickle (and not the good kind that Terry enjoys, but does not love), he must call upon the team to come to his aid, and just when it looks like Peralta's lost it all – he wins. The premise is similar to the previous episodes, sure, and eventually the series will need to introduce some new conceits, but for now, it's working.
