Mattel's Max Steel Movie Moves Forward Sep 5th 2013, 01:10, by Max Nicholson Mattel has officially partnered with Dolphin Entertainment to develop and produce the long-gestating Max Steel movie, based on Mattel's franchise of the same name. Open Road Films will domestically distribute the pic as the first of a multi-picture agreement with Dolphin Films, a newly created subsidiary of Dolphin Entertainment. Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World) will pen the script, with Stewart Hendler (Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, Sorority Row) set to direct Max Steel.
