How I Met Your Mother: Season Premiere Review Sep 24th 2013, 00:30, by Max Nicholson Warning: Full spoilers from How I Met Your Mother's Season 9 premiere to follow. How I Met Your Mother made its final return this week with a one-hour season premiere, as the gang plotted a course for the wedding weekend to end all wedding weekends. With 55 hours to go before the big moment, tensions were high between Lily and Ted, who were very quickly separated in "The Locket" so that Lily might finally meet the Mother. To start, of course, there was Cristin Milioti, who made her speaking debut in a train sequence with Lily. My first thought here? Move over Zooey Deschanel, there's a new adorkable girl in town and her name is... well, we actually don't know her name just yet, but for the sake of avoiding confusion, we'll just call her the "Mother" since A) "The Girl with the Yellow Umbrella" is a little wordy and B) we probably won't know her name for quite some time.
