When Can We Start Playing GTA Online? Oct 1st 2013, 00:12, by Mitch Dyer Grand Theft Auto Online will go live on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network at 4am Pacific / 7am Eastern / 12pm Greenwich Mean Time on October 1, Rockstar Games has confirmed to IGN. The GTA 5 multiplayer add-on will come in the form of a Title Update on both platforms. Anyone who owns GTA 5 will be accessible via the game menu once the multiplayer game rolls out. GTA Online, you may recall, takes place months before the in-game events of GTA 5's main story, and lets 16 players make a mess of Los Santos together with odd jobs, bounties, heists, sports, stick-ups, and, later in an update, in competitive games of Capture the Flag.
