Microsoft's Streaming Service May Be Called 'Rio' Sep 30th 2013, 23:02, by Mike Mahardy A recent demo at Microsoft's annual company meeting may have leaked the rumored cloud streaming service, along with more information regarding the service. The cloud service, formerly known as "Ridgeway," is now called "Rio," CNet reports. The service will, reportedly, allow Microsoft to stream games over the internet to various devices, such as Windows phones or Windows on PC. The Verge reported last week that Halo 4 was shown in a Rio demo, and that the game ran smoothly on both the phone and PC in question. Continue reading…
