Kevin Feige has admitted that we could see Spider-Man and X-Men characters with the Avengers on the big-screen in the future, but don't get too excited, and he warns not to expect it any time soon.

The head of Marvel Studios was answering your reader questions while in town promoting Thor: The Dark World (which you can watch in full below), when IGN reader Sam Wilson asked the question we all want the answer to: "Will a deal ever happen between the relevant studios that will allow the likes of Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Avengers on-screen together?" Scrub to the 4m 07s mark for Kevin's response.

Although Kevin was fairly content with the wide roster of characters currently available to Marvel Studios (the rights to Spider-Man characters currently lie with Sony, while X-Men and Fantastic Four lie at 20th Century Fox), he didn't rule out the possibility of working with the other studios in the future, saying "never say never".
