New Posters for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Nov 4th 2013, 02:13, by Lucy O'Brien Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is right around the corner, and the official Hobbit Facebook page has revealed seven new high res character posters focused on the leads of the sequel. The posters feature old favourites Bilbo (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Thorin (Richard Armitage), and reintroduce The Lord of the Ring trilogy's Legolas (Orlando Bloom.) We also get a detailed look at new characters Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans), warrior elf Tauriel (Evangeline Lily) and elven king Thranduil (Lee Pace), all of whom will feature heavily in the final two Hobbit flicks.
