Diablo III on PC won't be getting an offline mode, according to game director Josh Mosqueira. Answering a question during a BlizzCon 2013 Q&A, he responded, "So here's the thing. When we decided to design Diablo III, we feel...that Diablo plays best when you're playing with your friends, when you have access to this awesome community that is Blizzard."
Mosqueira and his team emphasized that they're adding even more multiplayer features to Diablo III with a new clan system in Reaper of Souls. "We felt it was important for you to have that social connection," Mosqueira added.
