The summer movie season may be over, but leave it to Vin Diesel to start the fall with a bang. Diesel is returning again to a role that helped make him a star - Richard B. Riddick. Riddick is the third entry in the sci-fi/horror series that started with 2000's Pitch Black and continued in 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick (but we won't hold that one against him).
Normally this would be our cue to do a "Vin Diesel's Ten Best Movies" list. But as Diesel has a habit of revisiting certain roles again and again, that would result in a pretty repetitive line-up. Instead, we're focusing on the seven roles that have defined his Hollywood career. It's a resume built a quarter mile at a time.
