When Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford first noted that he wanted Borderlands 2 on PS Vita, it seemed like nothing more than wishful thinking. He admitted that his studio couldn't do it on its own, and the entire idea seemed to die a quiet death. Except, it didn't. Borderlands 2 is coming to Vita, and Sony itself is publishing it.
Indeed, an entirely different studio -- Iron Galaxy, the minds behind Divekick -- are bringing it to Sony's handheld. This was a deal clearly facilitated by Sony, and as Sony recently revealed, it wants to do it again.
