Pacific Rim Star Cast in 50 Shades of Grey Sep 2nd 2013, 16:26, by Luke Karmali Pacific Rim star Charlie Hunnam has been cast in the role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. A post on Facebook confirms that British-born Hunnam, best known for his roles in Pacific Rim, Queer as Folk and Sons of Anarchy, will take on the role, following months of speculation about who the part would go to. Alongside this announcement about the male lead, it's been confirmed that 21 Jump Street's Dakota Johnson will star opposite Hunnam as Anastasia Steele.
