Dwayne Johnson and Terminator Salvation director Joseph McGinty "McG" Nichol are in negotiations to bring the movie adaptation of the '80s action-adventure TV series 'The Fall Guy' to life.
For those new to the series, it starred Lee Majors as a Hollywood Stunt Man who was a bounty hunter on the side. Filmmakers have been trying to adapt the series on the big screen for years - a short-lived Nicholas Cage/Martin Campbell collaboration was planned at one stage - but only now has the venture looked likely.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment and WWE Studios will finance the film, based on a screenplay draft written by X-Men: First Class and Thor writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz. Amritraj will produce alongside WWE Studios president Michael Luisi and The Fall Guy rights-holders Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald.
