I love -- and am disturbed by -- both of the geek-friendly fictional works that carry the title Black Hole. The weird, not-good, highly watchable Disney movie The Black Hole, about an actual, literal black hole, remains a favorite (I just watched it with my kid a couple of weeks ago. Robots die in it!) But then there's also the acclaimed graphic novel Black Hole by Charles Burns, which is not about outer space, but perhaps a more metaphorical journey into a void of darkness.
All of which is to say, it looks like Burns' book may once again be headed for a big-screen adaptation. David Fincher himself was attached to the would-be film back in 2008, but nothing ever came of it. And yet, The Playlist (via THR reports that Brad Pitt and his Plan B production company are reviving the project. And Fincher is still attached.
