The Simpsons to Pay Tribute to Marcia Wallace Nov 1st 2013, 00:46, by Lucy O'Brien Fox and the producers of The Simpsons will pay tribute to Marcia Wallace and her character Mrs Krabappel this Sunday in the United States. The network is going to replace a re-run of American Dad at 7:30 pm with the classic Simpsons ep 'Bart the Lover', which was the first episode to really explore Edna as a character outside of Bart's classroom. That will be followed by an all new episode, '4 Regrettings and a Funeral,' which will close with a tribute card honouring Wallace. Wallace passed away October 25.  In 1992, she won the Emmy as outstanding voice actress in 1992 for her performance as Springfield Elementary School's most sardonic teacher. Continue reading…
