This was a pretty damn busy and quite fun episode. The whole "Skye is a double agent" thing had felt half-baked, so it was good to have it all come out into the open so quickly. I don't know of Skye's guilty/conflicted expression at the end of "0-8-4" -- when she contacted what we thought were his evil masters, but was, in fact, Miles -- really matches up, but ultimately, this shift feels like a good one. "Who were Skye's parents and why did SHIELD redact their identities?" is a much better route to take with the character than her secretly working against SHIELD from within.

However, Skye having kept some major secrets from the team, including her, ahem, familiarity with fellow Rising Tide member Miles (Austin Nichols), did cause some good drama. Coulson truly tearing into her for her betrayal was very effective, in a scene that wisely did away with the jokiness that sometimes overtakes some of the scenes on this show. It was also good to see Coulson openly admit to May and Ward that they were right to be wary of Skye, including May's slight, "I told you so" line with, "When someone breaks into my house I don't usually invite them to stay."
