Paul Rudd or Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Play Ant-Man Oct 14th 2013, 23:10, by Lucy O'Brien After months of speculation and somewhat hilarious red herrings, it seems that Edgar Wright's Ant-Man will be brought to life by either Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Paul Rudd. Sources close to Variety say the two actors are the current front-runners for the role, although there's still a "remote" possibility a third could join the race. Both Rudd and Gordon-Levitt are strong comedic actors, and both have a history of playing somewhat sardonic, wise-cracking characters, which seems to be the angle Wright is taking for the character.
