With Forever Evil shining a spotlight on all the myriad villains of the DCU, the big question is - what the heck happened to the Justice Leagues? Before the the sudden appearance of two Leaguers at the end of Forever Evil #2, readers had no overt evidence to suggest the Crime Syndicate were lying when they claimed to have killed Earth's heroes. Well, spoiler alert - they were. And of the three ongoing Justice League titles, Justice League of America's mission over these next six months is to chronicle exactly what did happen to our heroes and where they go from here. It's the ideal sort of tie-in, really. It's a vital addition to Forever Evil, but it neither punishes readers who only want to read that series nor those who who just want to keep up with the JLA characters. Call it the anti-Infinity.
