It's a big week for Kieron Gillen, as both of his Marvel books hinge on major plot twists. In the case of iron Man #17, Gillen finally wraps up "The Secret Origin of Tony Stark," establishing once and for all what that origin entails and why it's been so secret. This arc had started to seriously drag in recent issues, and last month's awkwardly paced epilogue to the Iron Man/451 battle didn't help. But this final issue goes a long way to restoring the former luster of this storyline and setting Tony up for an interesting new status quo.
