Disney Infinity Toy Box Downloads Exceed 1 Million in 2 Weeks

Disney Infinity is all about creation, and if the number of downloads for user-created content is any indication, the game is hitting its stride.

After Infinity's release, Disney held weekly contests for user-generated toy boxes, wherein players can mold their own worlds. Disney Infinity's developers actually used the same tools as players do to show how much could be done with the kit at their disposal, an executive told Polygon.

"What we wanted to do is show the community that it is our intention that Infinity will continue to grow and live over time with user-generated content," John Vignocchi, executive producer, said. "We wanted to start putting content in that channel so people could see what could be created."
