Syfy Channel's multi-platform series Defiance treated their fans at New York Comic Con to an entertaining panel this weekend, with many of its stars and producer Michael Nankin present. Grant Bowler (Josh Nolan), Julie Benz (Amanda Rosewater), Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr) and Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa Nolan) were on hand to answer questions, promote the season 1 Blu-Ray and DVD and give the audience a taste of what's to come in season 2.
"It gets really weird," said Jaime Murray. Grant Bowler further explained, "Season 1 was about the town of Defiance. Season 2 is more personal." On that note, Julie Benz reiterated the point, saying that when it comes to Amanda, "Her mask is removed and we see her dark side." The dark turn of events on season 2 makes sense given the upheaval that happened at the end of season 1.
