A very appreciative, cheering crowd greeted the Marvel's Agents of SHIELD panel Saturday at New York Comic Con, as Jeph Loeb (executive producer), Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) and Iain De Caestecker (Fitz) took to the stage.
Henstridge said that a lot of character development was coming – "Lots of secrets and little twists that are going to be revealed and I don't think you'll be disappointed." Said Loeb, "It's always challenging with a new show on how much to give and how much an audience needs at a certain point," but added, "All of our characters are growing. As the team is getting to know each other, you're getting to know them as well."
The entire fourth episode, airing next week, was shown, and while I'll keep story specifics to a minimum, this is the episode that includes a sequence actually filmed in Sweden. Loeb explained, "It's something we're going to be doing a lot on the show. We'll be going to international places," adding in the pilot, "We were in Paris, that's not some photoshopped nonsense people talk about."
