The last issue of Captain America dealt with Cap's return from Dimension Z and his attempt to readjust to the normal world. Captain America #12 is more of the same, although less effective. It's still well written and wonderfully drawn, but there is a sense of stalling, a sense of melodrama. Some of it just doesn't ring true, which is a bummer because this Cap run has been supremely awesome up until now. This is still a good comic, just not as great as the ones that came before it.
