Nightwing Annual #1 is as much a Batgirl story as it is a Nightwing one. But that's a good thing. Their shared history has been rendered very murky thanks to the New 52, and any issue devoted to fleshing out the Dick/Barabara relationship is a welcome one. This issue certainly has its flaws, but it's worth a read for fans of the characters who crave a relatively lighter tale for a change.
