Joel McHale is not content with one job or even two. No, the host of The Soup and the star of Community – who also performs standup and appears in films – is now hosting E!'s new spinoff, The Soup Investigates.
On my recent set visit to Community (more on that when the show returns to NBC in January!), I asked McHale about The Soup Investigates. Explained McHale, "It's a show that's now on after The Soup, which you should watch at 10:30pm Wednesdays on E! - 9:30 central. You know how The Daily Show has correspondents that go out
, or like Bryant Gumbel Real Sports? It's that, but for entertainment."
McHale recalled how on the most recent episode, "We found a guy who makes his own duck calls that does not have a reality show and then took a reporter duck hunting. Then we explored why women dress up like sluts for Halloween and should selfies stop being taken - and I think so. There's a terrific bullpen of talent and I hope the show keeps going.
