Time for Tinker Bell! Rose McIver brought the little green fairy to the screen as a sprite with spite, and she's got a good reason, too. It's not just that she's annoyed because she's not the center of Pan's attention. No, they expanded past the original material, as Once does so often, and gave her an interesting back story by tying her past to Regina's. Even though the Evil Queen has committed horrible, unforgivable acts, hers is a tragic story. It's great that Tinker Bell wanted to be a good fairy and help Regina find happiness and love again. Very heart-warming. Imagine the different life Regina would have led!
The set up is perfect to make Tink angry about seeing Regina in her home on Neverland and asking for help. Given her anger at Regina, it didn't make sense that she would offer to help the group find Pan's camp with such little prodding. That tells us Tink is still holding on to hope in her heart, even if no one believes in her (by the way, Nova is a mean teacher with a pretty harsh pass/fail grading system!) or that she owes Hook a giant favor.
