NYCC: Walking Dead Team Reloads for Mob City Oct 12th 2013, 23:01, by Jim Vejvoda Stars Ed Burns, Milo Ventimiglia, and Robert Knepper appeared at Saturday's New York City Comic-Con to promote their new TNT series Mob City. Series showrunner Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, Shawshank Redemption) had been scheduled to appear but due to obligations in L.A. sent a pre-recorded apology and introduction to fans. Mob City -- based on the non-fiction book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City, by John Buntin -- follows cops, criminals and those stuck in-between these two warring forces in 1947 Los Angeles.
