NYCC: Community Creator's New Animated Series Oct 13th 2013, 03:21, by Jonah Krakow Premiering in December 2013, Rick and Morty is an upcoming Adult Swim show that definitely continues the channel's rich tradition of complete insanity and unpredictable humor in its programming. From co-creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (House of Cosbys), Rick and Morty is the story of a brilliant scientist with questionable judgement and morals who brings his innocent grandson along with him on adventures. To say that those adventures are completely inappropriate for a 14 year-old, let alone anyone else, would be accurate. Both title characters are voiced by Roiland and there are other recognizable names in the cast including Chris Parnell (30 Rock) and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs). Additionally, the creators confirmed a few guest voice actors this season including Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Dana Carvey (SNL) and John Oliver (The Daily Show.)
