NECA Unveils NES Robocop Action Figure Oct 23rd 2013, 22:53, by Max Nicholson Earlier this summer at San Diego Comic-Con, NECA released their exclusive Friday the 13th NES Jason action figure, which almost immediately sold out at the event. Capitalizing on the figure's success, the toy company then came out with a similarly designed piece modeled after Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger. Now, NECA has unveiled an all-new video game-inspired action figure -- Robocop! Based on the character's vibrant look in the 1989 NES video game, this fully articulated 7-inch collectible comes with a spring-loaded holster and Auto-9 pistol. Robocop is painted in the same bluish purple video game deco, with a bit of cel shading. The toy comes packed in a window box package with opening flap, same as the previous two releases. (Click images to enlarge.)
