LARF_Cv4_um4yjez5aw_Larfleeze is one DC's most goofy and zany comics in years -- and that's exactly why it's so much fun. Co-writers J.M. DeMatteis and Keith Giffen have injected nearly every panel with a joke or gag of some kind, and while they're not all winners, overall the book hits enough of its target to be labeled a comedic success.

Thanks to artist Scott Kolins, the book has a cartoonish, over-the-top style that fits the tone of the writing to a T. The title splash page has Larfleeze being blown back towards the reader, face grimaced and spit flying. Nearly every page has an explosive visual yet Kolins never lets it get old by keeping the paneling and layouts fresh and inventive.
