
For 10 straight hours, Beyond: Two Souls tells a confusing, nonsensical story about a young woman and her ghost. Jodie Holmes, who's been linked to the poltergeist Aiden since birth, struggles through a traumatizing life, pieces of which are delivered to players in chronological disarray. Writer/director David Cage's script swings violently from adulthood to childhood to adolescence with reckless disregard for the audience's understanding. It is, at times, an unmitigated disaster.
