First Look at the Time Travel Show Outlander Oct 13th 2013, 01:20, by Scott Collura The one and only Ron Moore -- mastermind behind Battlestar Galactica and the OG of Star Trek's TNG -- was on hand at the Starz panel at New York Comic-Con this weekend to talk about his new series, the time-travel romance Outlander. Joining him for the chat was Diana Gabaldon, the author of the very popular book series on which the show is based. Outlander is the story of Claire Randall, who finds herself thrust from her time period of the 1940s to centuries in the past… where she meets Jamie Fraser. Since the show only started shooting this past Monday, the pair didn't have any actual footage to show the eager crowd in attendance.
