Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor Screening Details Oct 22nd 2013, 15:48, by Chris Tilly The BBC has issued an update about the forthcoming theatrical screening of Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor, with the corporation revealing that more than 200 cinemas will screen the 3D episode in the UK. The special 50th anniversary episode will also screen internationally in America, Canada, Russia, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, with more to be announced. More details on the event will appear on www.doctorwho.tv, while UK fans can purchase tickets from 9am on Friday, October 25. The full press release reads as follows… "BBC Worldwide today announces that the special 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who will also be screened in 3D in cinemas across the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Germany and Russia at the same time as the UK TV broadcast on BBC One on 23rd November 2013, with more countries to be confirmed within the next few weeks.
