She's back!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I kid, I kid. Sort of. I don't outright hate Margaret, but I do think the show, at times, went out of its way to make her unlikeable. That's not to say that characters can't be complex and full of contradictions, but the fact that she was constantly at odds with the very premise of the entire series certainly didn't help her much.

But I'll say this. In her brief scene, at the top of "The North Star," she was fine. Because she's now sticking to her principles; no longer living in luxury while pissing all over how she came to live in luxury. I can't imagine this will be the last time we see her this season, but I do confess to not knowing exactly how they'll bring her back in. It'll have to always come from some sort of concession on Nucky's part. Like their short meeting in this episode, with Nucky looking for someone, anyone, to talk to about Eddie's death. Preferably, someone who knew him as well as Margaret did. But even then Nucky couldn't come right out and tell her Eddie'd killed himself. In fact, there was a part of me that thought that Nucky was almost checking out her living and work situation with designs of asking her to come back, possibly to take over Eddie's old deposit box position.
