One of the (many) reasons we love Blade Runner is for its futuristic spin on the tropes of film noir, and a new fan-made trailer plays up those elements of the Ridley Scott classic in a fun way. Watch it here:
I like how the trailer starts off with the old-timey sounding "One More Kiss‚ Dear," which actually is in Blade Runner but kind of hidden if you don't know the film that well.
The trailer was cut together by Chet Desmond, who tells The Hollywood Reporter that it "isn't meant to be a radical re-imagining of the film or a recreation of a '40s-style trailer" but instead he wanted to accentuate the "already present elements of classic noir movies in Blade Runner."
