Arrow: John Diggle Makes His Comic Book Debut Oct 3rd 2013, 22:55, by Jesse Schedeen Arrow made a number of changes to the familiar Green Arrow mythology when it adapted that mythology for television. One of the most significant was adding a larger supporting cast to Oliver Queen's world. That cast includes characters inspired by those in the comics (Laurel Lance, Tommy Merlyn), as well as completely new creations like Ollie's bodyguard John Diggle and his faithful computer expert, Felicity Smoake. But it's not as if characters created for other media haven't ever crossed over into comics (Harley Quinn, Agent Coulson, etc.) And now it's Diggle's turn.
