Superhero comics are sick. They have a disease. As a whole, the genre takes itself far too seriously. If that's the diagnoses, then Mark Waid is the cure. Once again, Indestructible Hulk ditches the "woe is me" tone that plagued the Hulk and ramps up the kick butt excitement and fun. Indestructible Hulk #9 is filled with humor, pulse-pounding action, and one of the most unlikely team-ups we have seen in a very, very long time. This issue is amazing, which shouldn't be a surprise at this point.
