Muramasa Rebirth is hands-down PlayStation Vita's prettiest game. It's not super-realistic looking like Uncharted: Golden Abyss or Killzone: Mercenary, but it's decidedly gorgeous and stylish. And while it's not always wise to judge a game based on its graphics, Rebirth's graphical strength accurately suggests the quality of the overall package.
If you played Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii, you'll find an essentially identical product with Rebirth on PS Vita. The only differences are a new translation, enhanced button-mapping, and HD graphics. It's a quick, responsive, side-scrolling action-RPG with an old-school slant, and it's a lot of fun to play. Its emphasis on non-linear exploration and discovery adds further weight to an adventure already rife with danger and unpredictability.
