One of the producers of the original Arrested Development and My Name is Earl will bring the classic 1980s TV series Knight Rider to the big screen.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Brad Copeland (whose writing credits include The In-Betweeners and the features Wild Hogs and Yogi Bear) has been hired to adapt the Glen Larson-created show for the big screen, which is "being conceived as a somewhat higher-budget, more action-oriented movie than Weinstein's typical prestige fare."
