Falling Skies: "At All Costs" Review

"At All Costs" starts right in the middle of the attack that ended last week's episode. Tom sees this as a great opportunity to show their new guest the capabilities of the Volm and why an alliance with them is key to a victory for the entire human race. This sparks a meeting with the real President of the United States – Benjamin Hathaway.

Naturally, the current administration is hesitant about an alliance with any alien race. Who better to embody that uncertain and xenophobic attitude than Michael Hogan, who already played the part wonderfully as Colonel Saul Tigh on Battlestar Galactica. Hogan is in great form here as his character isn't afraid to relay his true feelings about the Volm, and a potential alliance with them, with as much vitriol as possible.
