When you're John Byrne and you've pretty much done it all, apparently there's nothing left to do but an end-of-the-world story about a team of astronauts in orbit who witness a massive solar flare annihilating most life on Earth. It's a tightly told story that spends most of its time introducing its bulky cast both on Earth and in space as they prepare for the doomsday event. While this comic does deliver what it promises, it falls just short of greatness because it never offers anything other than what you'd expect.
