Marvel's forthcoming Thor: The Dark World is on the hunt for a new composer to score the sequel, which opens November 8.
Deadline reports that Carter Burwell has left the project over creative differences. "They like him but it wasn't the right project," according to the site's studio insider. Burwell's name even appeared on the first one-sheet for Thor: The Dark World.
Burwell has scored all of the Coen Brothers' movies, as well as Rob Roy, Twilight, Three Kings, Being John Malkovich, and Where the Wild Things Are.
