GTA 5 Overtakes GTA 4's UK Lifetime Sales in 3 Weeks Oct 7th 2013, 13:29, by Luke Karmali Grand Theft Auto V has already managed to overtake Grand Theft Auto IV's lifetime sales in the UK. Games Industry reports that the feat was achieved in only three weeks, despite the fact that Grand Theft Auto IV is also available on PC. This is hardly surprising news; GTA V is the UK's fastest-selling game of all time, selling just over 1.57 million units in its first day and 2.25 million copies in the five days following its release. The previous record was held by Call of Duty: Black Ops which sold 1.41 million units in one day and 2 million in five when it release back in November 2010. Continue reading…
