The first teaser for Star Wars Rebels debuted tonight on Disney XD - though the word teaser is very much significant. We're still a year away from the fall 2014 debut of the new animated series, set in-between Episode III and Episode IV, and there's likely no finished scenes to show just yet. But the teaser uses a very iconic image from the Star Wars series to firmly show you what this show is looking to evoke.
Star Wars Rebels comes from a trio of notable executive producers - Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Dave Filoni, Young Justice and The Spectacular Spider-Man's Greg Weisman and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), who is writing one of the stand alone upcoming Star Wars live-action films.
