The Blacklist Gets Full Season Pickup Oct 4th 2013, 23:33, by Max Nicholson NBC has ordered an additional nine episodes of James Spader's drama The Blacklist, rounding out a full 22-episode commitment. The news comes hot on the heels of ABC's first cancellation, Lucky 7, and FOX's renewal of Sleepy Hollow (which is sticking to 13-episode seasons); that makes The Blacklist this fall's first new show to get picked up for a full 22-episode season. "The many layers of Red Reddington and his mysterious reasons for getting into bed with the FBI seem to be fascinating to fans of this show," said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. "With great talent like James Spader and Megan Boone on board, as well our stellar executive producers and the whole cast and crew, we believe this outstanding series will continue to make NBC a big destination on Monday nights."
