On the heels of its recent debut on ABC, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is set for New York Comic Con this week. NYCC was where it was revealed that Clark Gregg would be starring in SHIELD as Agent Phil Coulson, so it only makes sense for the series to return a year later, now that it's actually on the air.
The Agents of SHIELD panel will take place on Saturday, October 12 at 5:00 p.m. ET in the Main Theater, with Marvel's Head of Television, Jeph Loeb, giving attendees a first look at new footage from the series and "access to exclusive news before anyone else." The panel is notably set for an hour and fifteen minutes, just like the one at San Diego Comic-Con was. The reason for the long panel at SDCC was because the entire pilot episode of SHIELD was shown… which makes me think there's a very good chance an entire new episode will be shown at NYCC as well.
