The behind-the-scenes drama continues for Legendary Pictures and their Godzilla reboot. Earlier this week, we heard the news that producers Dan Lin, Roy Lee and Doug Davison were set to exit the project.
On Wednesday, Legendary filed a lawsuit to enforce a contract allowing the studio to dump the producers in advance of the start of production on Godzilla. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Legendary has a March 2011 contract with Lin Pictures and Lee's Vertigo Entertainment that states they need only involve the producers if they are "deemed to be engaged" to produce the film.
