Harry Potter Star Cast in Doctor Who Drama Jan 30th 2013, 12:43 One of the stars of the Harry Potter films is set to play the first ever Doctor in forthcoming BBC Two Doctor Who drama An Adventure in Space and Time. David Bradley – who played Argus Filch in the Potter flicks – has been cast as William Hartnell, the first actor to play the iconic Time Lord. The one-off 90-minute drama will be written and executive produced by Mark Gatiss, and tell the story of the genesis of the long-running sci-fi series, which first aired on the BBC on November 23, 1963.
